It was a rather uneventful drive along the freeway until we spotted a small clearing slightly ahead of us. Hastily, we turned off the tarmac and through the opening to find a small plantation trail. These trails are typically used by workers to transport produce out of the plantation.

We continued North, hoping that this “shortcut” would eventually allow us to save some time.

Before long, the trail began to fade and we soon realised that we were driving in circles. We were lost… but more importantly, it was time for breakfast.
