We’ve always been huge fans of the Land Rover Defender. It is the vehicle that Hutan Tropical has naturally chosen to associate with for many reasons and we are certain that it will continue to play a significant role in our pursuit of the ultimate adventure in the Great Southeast.

We are referring, however, to the original Defender — the utilitarian workhorse, the people’s truck and just about the best 4x4xFar — a truck that will now go down in the history books as the “Defender Classic”.

So in the spirit of celebrating this timeless icon, we’ve taken the liberty to make a subtle amendment to the Defender rear decal in order to properly represent its newly-designated “classic” status.

Our 2020 t-shirt collection can be seen as a loose representation of Hutan’s journey since its inception. Peculiar humour, thought-provoking mantras and simple illustrations were applied onto the t-shirts to subtly convey the strong brand-message. While the design language remains relatively experimental, we ensure that the brand continues to uphold consistent values across future collections.
